The below is an announcement about the only KPFA LSB Listener-Candidates' Election Forum that is scheduled for this election cycle. All are invited. Event is free.
KPFA LSB Meet the Candidates' Forum and Reception
Sunday, November 4, 2007 7 - 10 pm

Lutheran Church of the Cross,
1744 University Avenue, Berkeley, California, USA

Between Grant & McGee Streets, about 3 blocks west & 2 blocks north
of the Downtown Berkeley BART station (on Shattuck)
on the south side of University.

This location has a parking lot and is wheelchair accessible .
Refreshments will be provided

Format summary:
--Short candidate statements in front of whole group
--small groups of listeners asking candidates questions
--candidates asking each other questions
--large group again with closing statements by candidates.

Some but not complete details :
Each candidate will make a very short (1 or 2 minute) statement, followed by small groups in which about 10 listeners per group can ask questions.

Then each slate, (with the one unaffiliated candidate constituting for this purpose his own group) asking one question to another candidate.

The questionee will have one or two minutes to answer, followed by a very short response from the original questioner.

Lastly: Short closing statements by candidates.
