Thanks to everyone who supported the I Team in the KPFA listener election. We couldn't have been as successful without your help. We are proud that Tracy and I were elected and that Joe is the first runner up. We also appreciate the valuable contributions of Steve Conley and hope to continue to work with him on KPFA outreach in the future.

Even though Joe is the runner up it is still possible that he will be seated for this term since the results have not been finalized. So stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

FYI, the staff election has been extended for two more weeks, since the staff list was not finalized until late last week. Those ballots are due to be counted on December 1st and we hope that both the listener and the staff elections will be certified as of that date.

In an attempt to provide outreach on the issues to the KPFA members, and since we couldn't afford to do a mailing, The I Team placed two ads in the Berkeley Daily Planet and one in The SF Guardian. The money was provided by the The I Team candidates.
